Lorients’ Ghanaian youngster Andre Dede Ayew grabbed his second French League goal on Wednesday when he sealed a convincing 4-1 over St. Etienne.
The 18-year-old came on as substitute with only eight minutes remaining to take advantage of some poor defending from the home side to secure the victory.
The win lifted Lorient to 14th on the table of the 20-team top flight competition.
Lorient had put themselves in a comfortable 3-1 situation after a brace from Bertrand Robert and strike by Jeremy Morel.
Bafetimbi Gomis levelled just after the half-hour mark for the home side, but Ayew had the easiest task of just tapping the ball into an empty after some comical defending by Viviani had left the Ghanaian in front of an empty net.
It was Ayews second goal for the club since joining on loan from giants Marseille.
